BMX Riding!!!

Skiing in Big Bear got cancelled and we were a bit sad until we got to the BMX Track at the Olympic Training Center! Charlie had been on a field trip last year and met Olympic BMX Cyclist, Tyler Brown and was very excited for us to come and try out the track. Well, all three boys, yes, three... Jack, Charlie and John got in on the action. Charliebug impressed us the most with facing his fears. All said and done... everyone is hooked on BMX!

My baby turns 9!!!

I cannot believe it!  NINE YEARS OLD!!!  It seems like yesterday that we brought little Jackson home from the hospital!  He is growing up way too fast!  It really does just fly by.  We are so proud of the person Jackson is and how sensitive, kind and caring he is!  This year, Jackson is really into army and anything resembling a gun... so of course his party had a military theme.  We hired a company to come to the house to do laser tag and it was blast! First Day of 6th and 9th Grades!

Wow!  I cannot believe it... a 6th grader and a Freshman in High School!  What!?! Yes... that is a boot cast... broke my foot just in time for school!  UGH! Charlie with his teacher...Mrs. Villar!     Not as many pix of Jackson because, well... who wants their mom tagging along to take pix with their teachers!  Not a great shot...   was having an ugly cry moment!
