Paintballing for Jackson's 10th birthday!

While it isn't acutally his birthday just yet, his party this year was a small gathering at the paintball arena.  Okay... so we wake up and it's raining and of course we think we need a plan B, however, when Mommy called... "Oh, no... we are open rain or shine!"  Oh great thought mommy and Oh Yeah said Jackson! Well... it did look like they had a ball in all that mud and rain!
Jack invited his best buds, Nathan and Brandon and of course Charlie cheered them on... too young to play just yet!

 After everyone changed out of paint and wet gear... we were headed to Chili's for some dinner!




Nathan gave Jackson such a sweet card about being forever friends!  Very sweet!

These boys worked up quite an appetite!!!



 Then it was Happy Birthday singing time!
And no, Jackson's head is not that big... he had Nathan's hat just resting on top of his head!


That smile says it all!  Happy Birthday Bud!

My baby turns 9!!!

I cannot believe it!  NINE YEARS OLD!!!  It seems like yesterday that we brought little Jackson home from the hospital!  He is growing up way too fast!  It really does just fly by.  We are so proud of the person Jackson is and how sensitive, kind and caring he is!  This year, Jackson is really into army and anything resembling a gun... so of course his party had a military theme.  We hired a company to come to the house to do laser tag and it was blast! First Day of 6th and 9th Grades!

Wow!  I cannot believe it... a 6th grader and a Freshman in High School!  What!?! Yes... that is a boot cast... broke my foot just in time for school!  UGH! Charlie with his teacher...Mrs. Villar!     Not as many pix of Jackson because, well... who wants their mom tagging along to take pix with their teachers!  Not a great shot...   was having an ugly cry moment!
