Big Bear Snow Fun!

Mommy's dear friend, and Charlie's God Momma, Kerry and her family have a house in Big Bear and invited us up for a weekend of skiing, snowboarding and sledding fun!
Jackson tried out snowboarding for the first time and of course was shredding up the mountain on the first day!  Buggy tried out skiing and did a pretty good job, but decided to go home after a ride down the bunny slopes.  Mommy and Jackson spent the day on the mountain and had a ball, while Daddy took the Bug home to play with Cole, Beau and Baby Lola!
We arrived before Kerry and Pete and the boys headed right out back for a good old fashioned snowball fight!

 Day Two was full of sledding!






 Mommy and Kerry stayed in the cozy cabin in the woods while all the boys went sledding on some cool inner tubes!


 
An amazing weekend with amazing friends!

My baby turns 9!!!

I cannot believe it!  NINE YEARS OLD!!!  It seems like yesterday that we brought little Jackson home from the hospital!  He is growing up way too fast!  It really does just fly by.  We are so proud of the person Jackson is and how sensitive, kind and caring he is!  This year, Jackson is really into army and anything resembling a gun... so of course his party had a military theme.  We hired a company to come to the house to do laser tag and it was blast! First Day of 6th and 9th Grades!

Wow!  I cannot believe it... a 6th grader and a Freshman in High School!  What!?! Yes... that is a boot cast... broke my foot just in time for school!  UGH! Charlie with his teacher...Mrs. Villar!     Not as many pix of Jackson because, well... who wants their mom tagging along to take pix with their teachers!  Not a great shot...   was having an ugly cry moment!
