My baby turns 9!!!

I cannot believe it!  NINE YEARS OLD!!!  It seems like yesterday that we brought little Jackson home from the hospital!  He is growing up way too fast!  It really does just fly by.  We are so proud of the person Jackson is and how sensitive, kind and caring he is!
This year, Jackson is really into army and anything resembling a gun... so of course his party had a military theme.  We hired a company to come to the house to do laser tag and it was blast! First I had to do some serious planning on the decorating end of things!  Thank the Lord that my friend Jill turned me onto Pinterest... got all my ideas from there!

Okay... enough with all the decorations... onto the laser tag...

Beyond excited that it's finally 3:00!!!

The "soldiers" getting the mission guidelines!  Notice Charlie in full soldier gear!

If you are wondering why their faces are all dirty... well... Jackson wanted everyone having camouflage on their face for effect!

Okay... onto the real Call of Duty stuff!

Of course Daddy had to get in on the action!

Coppa had to stop by and take in a round too!

Yes... it went well into dark thirty!

You can't really see Jackson and Tony under the ramp and Brandon is on the platform!

Tough Guys!

Now it was time to come on in and get some grub!
Then it was onto video and just fun playing around!!!

Did someone say present time???

Jackson had been asking for a black leather jacket forever... so he got one from Mommy, Daddy and Charliebug!  It's a bit big... but he'll grow into it!

Gamestop Gift Card from Buddy Tony!

Blow Gun and Camo Netting from Jack Rankin

Target Gift Card from the Ryan Bros. and Lego Car Launcher from Brandon!

Great boys... great friends!

Onto cupcakes and ice cream sundae making!

All went well... no crying, throwing up or calls to be picked up in the middle of the night!  A successful sleepover!  Not that I am any too excited to have one ANYTIME in the near future!  I remember sleepovers and I think girls at a sleepover are much more mellow... boys are a lot of energy until they crash... in any event a great bunch of boys and they all had a great time!

The morning after....

Yes... that is my living room... don't worry I did not have a heart attack!

Homemade cinnamon swirl crumb cake!
 YUMMY!
Then after all the kiddos were picked up... it was take two... family party for Jackson!

Grandma and Coppa
Uncle Bobby

Gramma Lane, Coppa Les and Uncle Dave

Great Grandma Lucy!

Grand Aunt Janet and Uncle Al

Then it was on to presents... Gramma Lane gave Buggy a little gift too!

New Uggs from Grandma and Coppa... how did she know?
Then it was time for more birthday wishes to come true this coming year!

Great Birthday Weekend!
