Carving Out New Halloween Memories

Image
Pumpkin carving is one of my favorite times!  Watching my boys figure out what kind of scary jack-o-lantern they will carve each year with the help of mommy and daddy is a ton of fun! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Fall Festival

Fall and Harvest are in the air even though the temp is in the high 80's!  Today was Olympic View's Fall Festival and of course we had to go see what it was all about!  There were games and food and yes a haunted house.  Of course we were just about to go in when both of our boys ran away in the opposite direction!  I have to say... I was a bit relieved!  I am a scaredy cat too!!  Hmmm... I wonder where they get it from!

Halloween Parade at School

As tradition would have it... Olympic View has its annual Halloween Parade and today was the day!  Jackson decided on a Skeleton Court Jester (you knew it would have to be skeleton something) and Charlie chose... wait for it... Elvis Presley!  Now... off to school for the parade! Brandon as the Grim Reaper and Jackson!   Jackson's teacher, Ms. Inumerable went as a cat! Shaking hands with his fans!!!     Elvis with his bird watching teacher, Mrs. Montoya!    All of the witches of 2nd grade!!!!

Pumpkin Patch 2012

Started out our Halloween Season at the Pumpkin Patch, if you want to call it that!  It's a set up in the mall parking lot and it's simply a money maker!!!  But, hey... it must be done!   Yes, they did get scolded for going head first!  No one else was on it... so I figured it was fine! Yes, Charlie actually went in and he did touch some animals!!  Crazy I know!!! Moments after this shot... it started pouring down rain and we had to call it a day!  We had fun while it lasted!

Jump Rope 4 Heart

I have the best job, if you have to be a working mom!  Working as a teacher at the school that your two precious boys attend school is like being with them all day and you don't miss all those "important" fun days at school.  When most moms ask, " What happened at school today?"  Most kids answer, "Nothing."  Not so for this mom!!! Today was Jump Rope 4 Heart and I got to be there with each jump!   It was sports day!  Mommy and Jackson went with Chargers and Buggy went with our own Pads!   Mommy with her dudes and Jack's best bud, Nathan... who cannot help being the ham in every photo!!!   Brother buds!!!   Jackson demonstrating a flash mob dance called  gugnum style!!!   Mrs. Montoya was out all week, so Buggy had Mrs. Schauer all week and he was so excited!!!     Jackson and his teacher, Ms. Inumerable!!!   Another bonus is Mommy also works with one of her best friends, Jenn!!  Work is always fu
