Ringing in 2012!!! Happy New Year!

We all like to think we start each year fresh and ready for what lies ahead... well we are more than ready to say a giant goodbye to 2011 and hello to a new year!  This year has not been an easy road to hoe and we had fun with friends and family getting ready for the upcoming year of great things to come our way!!!

Well... that's all folks!  No pictures of the lizard contest this year!  I was busy helping Charlie find his special whistle from Santa and missed some of the yelling... he was way too tired to deal with logic and reasoning!  Anyway... Aunt Janet was the winner again... someone has to beat her next year... but who???

My baby turns 9!!!

I cannot believe it!  NINE YEARS OLD!!!  It seems like yesterday that we brought little Jackson home from the hospital!  He is growing up way too fast!  It really does just fly by.  We are so proud of the person Jackson is and how sensitive, kind and caring he is!  This year, Jackson is really into army and anything resembling a gun... so of course his party had a military theme.  We hired a company to come to the house to do laser tag and it was blast! Wow!  I cannot believe it... a 6th grader and a Freshman in High School!  What!?! Yes... that is a boot cast... broke my foot just in time for school!  UGH!
