Bug Gets Hurt

Well... it was 10:30 in the morning and I am enjoying my 2nd cup of coffee and I hear, "It's okay,  it's okay, it's okay".  Seconds later, Charlie comes running through the front door with the grossest finger I have ever seen.  It had gotten run over with the wheel of the roadster, which BOTH boys were riding!  Fast forward hours later, and an urgent care visit because Mommy was worried and Charlie is now splinted and has not only flesh wounds, but a hairline fracture!

My baby turns 9!!!

I cannot believe it!  NINE YEARS OLD!!!  It seems like yesterday that we brought little Jackson home from the hospital!  He is growing up way too fast!  It really does just fly by.  We are so proud of the person Jackson is and how sensitive, kind and caring he is!  This year, Jackson is really into army and anything resembling a gun... so of course his party had a military theme.  We hired a company to come to the house to do laser tag and it was blast! First Day of 6th and 9th Grades!

Wow!  I cannot believe it... a 6th grader and a Freshman in High School!  What!?! Yes... that is a boot cast... broke my foot just in time for school!  UGH! Charlie with his teacher...Mrs. Villar!     Not as many pix of Jackson because, well... who wants their mom tagging along to take pix with their teachers!  Not a great shot...   was having an ugly cry moment!
