God Bless America!!!

This year for the 4th of July, we decided to head out to Coronado Beach for the day! Mom, Dad, both boys, Grandma, Coppa and even Uncle Goggle weighed in on the fun! We arrived at 11:00 and stayed until 7:00pm at which time we were told by the lifeguards that due to the over cast skies, we would not be able to see the fireworks from Glorrieta Bay!  Sad, but not defeated, we headed home, took some hot showers and headed up onto the roof and saw a spectacular show from Spring Valley!  The boys were more thrilled to be up on the roof of our house than they would have been sitting at the beach!

My baby turns 9!!!

I cannot believe it!  NINE YEARS OLD!!!  It seems like yesterday that we brought little Jackson home from the hospital!  He is growing up way too fast!  It really does just fly by.  We are so proud of the person Jackson is and how sensitive, kind and caring he is!  This year, Jackson is really into army and anything resembling a gun... so of course his party had a military theme.  We hired a company to come to the house to do laser tag and it was blast! First Day of 6th and 9th Grades!

Wow!  I cannot believe it... a 6th grader and a Freshman in High School!  What!?! Yes... that is a boot cast... broke my foot just in time for school!  UGH! Charlie with his teacher...Mrs. Villar!     Not as many pix of Jackson because, well... who wants their mom tagging along to take pix with their teachers!  Not a great shot...   was having an ugly cry moment!
