Here Comes Santa Claus!

As with tradition... every year, we go up to Alpine where our friends Mindi and Sean have a wonderful party and invite Santa!  This year was no exception.  There were over 50 children and 60+ adults!  It's something our boys will remember forever and we are so blessed to have been able to take them since Jackson was about 2 years old!

 This is when Santa is first coming in!
 Here is Jolly Ol' Saint Nick with his bag of goodies for good boys and girls!
 He always answers questions from, "How old are you?" to "You know our elf, Arthur...?" Of course the questions about Arthur are always from Jackson!

 Then Santa Claus reads
 "Twas The Night Before Christmas"




 So excited to open a gift directly from Santa!
 What??? Legos?? How did Santa know???

My baby turns 9!!!

I cannot believe it!  NINE YEARS OLD!!!  It seems like yesterday that we brought little Jackson home from the hospital!  He is growing up way too fast!  It really does just fly by.  We are so proud of the person Jackson is and how sensitive, kind and caring he is!  This year, Jackson is really into army and anything resembling a gun... so of course his party had a military theme.  We hired a company to come to the house to do laser tag and it was blast! First Day of 6th and 9th Grades!

Wow!  I cannot believe it... a 6th grader and a Freshman in High School!  What!?! Yes... that is a boot cast... broke my foot just in time for school!  UGH! Charlie with his teacher...Mrs. Villar!     Not as many pix of Jackson because, well... who wants their mom tagging along to take pix with their teachers!  Not a great shot...   was having an ugly cry moment!
