Santa Is On His Way!!!

This past weekend, as is our tradition... we decorated for the upcoming Christmas Holidays!!!
We had a bit of a snafu, when Daddy came through the kitchen ceiling while he and Mommy were getting down the Christmas decorations from the attic...

Yes... that is my beautiful kitchen... don't worry no one was hurt and John is so handy that it was fixed up in no time!!!

Onto the decorating!!!
 Jackson and Charliebug got new ornaments shaped like their favorite thing ever...
XBox Remotes!

 This is our special little tree that holds special glass ornaments from every year beginning when John and I got married!  Each year, we get hand painted ornaments from a lady here in Bonita and each one is personalized for each member of our family!
 All of our Santa Babies filling up the entry bench greeting us!

 Okay the story with this ornament was that John loved this hand painted piece of wood that we found at a Christmas Craft show when we were first married... he named it, "Santa Poo!". So every year it has to have a prominent spot right in the front of the tree. (It is not my favorite....)

 However, these two are also prominent on in front the the tree... because
'I am the Queen of All Things!'
 The boys love decorating this tree to put on their desk as their own!  It was mine in college!


 Our tree topper is an angel made by my Grandma Sawicki... I treasure it!

 
We are ready for the holidays!

My baby turns 9!!!

I cannot believe it!  NINE YEARS OLD!!!  It seems like yesterday that we brought little Jackson home from the hospital!  He is growing up way too fast!  It really does just fly by.  We are so proud of the person Jackson is and how sensitive, kind and caring he is!  This year, Jackson is really into army and anything resembling a gun... so of course his party had a military theme.  We hired a company to come to the house to do laser tag and it was blast! First Day of 6th and 9th Grades!

Wow!  I cannot believe it... a 6th grader and a Freshman in High School!  What!?! Yes... that is a boot cast... broke my foot just in time for school!  UGH! Charlie with his teacher...Mrs. Villar!     Not as many pix of Jackson because, well... who wants their mom tagging along to take pix with their teachers!  Not a great shot...   was having an ugly cry moment!
