Buggy Finally Takes a Swim!!!

After many months and pleading... Buggy finally decided that holding his breath and swimming was actually fun!  It all happened one day after the beach when Mommy had him hold his nose so she could get the sand off of his face.  It was like a light had been turned on... he looked up and said,"Do that again!"  To which, his mother repeated pouring water over his face while he closed his eyes and plugged his nose... WOW!!!  "Is this what it's like to put my face in the water?" replied the youngster.  From them on... it was, "Can we go to the pool?"  "Can I have swimming lessons!"  Who knew it was that simple... his life was changed at that moment in the bathtub on a hot August day!

So Excited!!! Can you tell???

I cannot believe it!  NINE YEARS OLD!!!  It seems like yesterday that we brought little Jackson home from the hospital!  He is growing up way too fast!  It really does just fly by.  We are so proud of the person Jackson is and how sensitive, kind and caring he is!  This year, Jackson is really into army and anything resembling a gun... so of course his party had a military theme.  We hired a company to come to the house to do laser tag and it was blast! First Day of 6th and 9th Grades!

Wow!  I cannot believe it... a 6th grader and a Freshman in High School!  What!?! Yes... that is a boot cast... broke my foot just in time for school!  UGH! Charlie with his teacher...Mrs. Villar!     Not as many pix of Jackson because, well... who wants their mom tagging along to take pix with their teachers!  Not a great shot...   was having an ugly cry moment!
