Life Begins with Opening Day!

Baseball season is upon us... get in... buckle up... and get ready for the ride!!!  Can you tell... Mommy loves baseball!!!  And the uniforms are so stinkin' cute this year!
 Cutie Padres... We have the Pad Squad (Jack's Team) and The Brown Sox (Bug's Team)

 Bug was so excited that his buddy from last season, Blane, was back on his team!!!







 While the players were on the field, there were planes, and armed color guards... it was awesome!






 I am not going to lie... it got hot and long... and truth be told I would love to have laid down just like Charliebug!
The first pitch was thrown by someone who played little league here and was on the Padres...what's his name?  Well, uh... I have no idea... nice guy though! oh... I am told... it was Mark Prior!  Hey... are you impressed!

Now it was time to move on the exhibition games... and of course both boys played at the same time!

 Okay... now mommy and daddy switched and I am off to catch some of Bud's game!



 The Pad Squad went on to kill it 11-9!  It's going to be a great season... stay tuned!

My baby turns 9!!!

I cannot believe it!  NINE YEARS OLD!!!  It seems like yesterday that we brought little Jackson home from the hospital!  He is growing up way too fast!  It really does just fly by.  We are so proud of the person Jackson is and how sensitive, kind and caring he is!  This year, Jackson is really into army and anything resembling a gun... so of course his party had a military theme.  We hired a company to come to the house to do laser tag and it was blast! First Day of 6th and 9th Grades!

Wow!  I cannot believe it... a 6th grader and a Freshman in High School!  What!?! Yes... that is a boot cast... broke my foot just in time for school!  UGH! Charlie with his teacher...Mrs. Villar!     Not as many pix of Jackson because, well... who wants their mom tagging along to take pix with their teachers!  Not a great shot...   was having an ugly cry moment!
