The Elkinton Four

This year, the back to school BBQ was a lot of fun! Jackson and Charlie had a ball and the 2nd grade teachers had some fun selling bubbles! Jackson and Mrs. Viora! Buggy getting some bubbles with Daddy! Buggy and Mrs. Montoya! Two Brothers who had way too much fun!!! 

Beau and Buggy! Jackson and Daddy having a swim! Lola was so stinkin' cute and was all about the Cheez-its! Handsome dudes... Jack, Cole, Charlie and Beau! Catching a ride on a nearby golf cart to go and get some dinner at the Barefoot Bar! The Boys loved checking out the fish and sharks! ker and lease Beautiful sunset right out the backdoor... now off to roast some s'mores!  Yummy! mamma and lola! daddy and lola!  she gets no love!!! This past weekend was a blast!  Mommy's dear friend, Kerry and her beautiful family came to San Diego for a get away at Paradise Point and invited us to join them on Saturday!  What a ball the kids had swimming, skim boarding and roasting marshmallows.  It's so nice to catch up and just hang out and have fun with great friends! 

Against Mommy's better judgement, we drove many hours to 115 degree weather of Arizona for a weekend... yes, I know the heat must have gotten to her head.  We had fun swimming and catching up with our old friends, The Knowles Family and Buggy got in more swimming time!   Adam, Jackson and Charlie     Kendyll, the fish, and Buggy!   Buggy got some private lessons from Amber! Kendyll, Adam, Tanner, Jackson and Charlie   Mommy even got in on the fun and jumped off of the rocks!   Popsicles in the pool!  And yes, those are some margaritas in the red cups for the Mommies!   Night swimming was great!!!   Okay... as if swimming was not a big enough adventure for Charlie... he made friends with Daisy... yes, that is right... Charlie became friends with a Dog!  He is even feeding her treats!  What is going on with that boy!!! Crazy!! All the fun just tucked Buggy out... and Jack too, but we all know he doesn't fall asleep anywhere, but

After many months and pleading... Buggy finally decided that holding his breath and swimming was actually fun!  It all happened one day after the beach when Mommy had him hold his nose so she could get the sand off of his face.  It was like a light had been turned on... he looked up and said,"Do that again!"  To which, his mother repeated pouring water over his face while he closed his eyes and plugged his nose... WOW!!!  "Is this what it's like to put my face in the water?" replied the youngster.  From them on... it was, "Can we go to the pool?"  "Can I have swimming lessons!"  Who knew it was that simple... his life was changed at that moment in the bathtub on a hot August day! So Excited!!! Can you tell???
